(当サイト2003/10/24 既報)　 いろいろある国際科学オリンピックへの日本人参加を積極的に支援するため， 文部科学省は，来年度予算に向けて1億3000万円を要求した，と報道された． 科学技術振興機構を通じ て，国際大会への派遣費や強化合宿の費用・国内予選の開催経費などを助成する予定とのこと． （科学技術振興機構　議事録）
